Baby Three Update: Halfway There!

in Family, Parenting on 01/22/16

This is a baby three update! It is so crazy to be halfway done! My first baby just turned 3 and my second baby just turned 1 and it is starting to settle in that number three is next! In just less than 5 months our littlest squishy baby will be here! Today we got to see the little one’s beautiful face! Ultrasounds always give me butterflies. Knowing that little blob on the screen is growing inside of you and will one day turn into a sassy 3 year old!

Those pictures are SO cherished of such a fleeting time when you bond with that growing baby. Pregnancy is such a weird, crazy, and amazing experience that I cannot simply put into words. But I love it.

Especially this pregnancy! HA! Things have been wonderful and I am so surprised by how my body is handling this third pregnancy!baby number 3

Our little one was SO wiggly today! Although wiggly, we still have to go back for another ultrasound because baby didn’t want to roll over so we could see the spine! Ultrasounds are so much fun when baby moves around! It makes the baby so real!

Baby had the hiccups, moved and crossed its legs, waved its arms around, opened and closed its hands, and kept rubbing his or her face! It was so adorable.

I was worried that when we walked in and said that we didn’t want to know the gender that we wouldn’t get to see most of the scan, but we got to see everything! Our tech was careful and knew how to  do the scan while still keeping secrets! The scan was over an hour and a half – so it was amazing being able to see the baby the whole time!

Other than having some MAJOR tailbone pain today, this pregnancy has been amazing.

OH! and I am no style blogger but this concealer has been a LIFESAVER with all these pregnancy hormones! It is seriously the best! I may even do a post about my makeup favs!!

The bond that you feel with your growing baby is much easier when it isn’t clouded by nausea, exhaustion, and round ligament pain! I’m sure those are coming in the near future but it has been so pleasant not to have to deal with that! Hopefully I have the rest of the second trimester to enjoy this easy-so-far pregnancy! Only 7 more weeks until trimester #3! Baby Three Update will continue shortly after our next ultrasound!

How exciting! The ultrasounds always made it so much more real for me. There is something about being able to sneak a peek and what’s going on in there!
