Lazy Mom Makeup Favorites!

in Beauty, Style on 01/25/16

Okay. I will admit that I am such a lazy mom when it comes to hair and makeup! So I figured that if anyone was looking for some inspiration, I wanted to share my lazy mom makeup favorites!

Lazy Mom Makeup Favorites: Five kinds of makeup that are perfect for the quick stay at home mom look!

Sometimes I feel guilty for not spending as much time on myself as I probably should, but since I don’t like wearing a TON of makeup, this works for me!

My routine is perfect for me because:

  • I can be lazy with my hair and makeup
  • I don’t like wearing a ton
  • I like having a few (cheap-ish) options
    • instead of having crazy expensive or WAY too much that I get overwhelmed in the morning
  • I like keeping neutral because it goes with everything!

That’s my basic formula! If I want to spruce things up a bit, I like adding a fun red lipstick or some bronzer!

BTW – I know almost nothing about makeup and how to apply it the “right” way. I just do my own thing and it works for me! However, if you want some fun tutorials, you should subscribe to Kayla Taylor’s youtube channel here! She has a lot of great tips and application techniques + she’s fun to watch!

Okay, now the lazy mom makeup!

  1. Mascara!
    1. Maybelline’s Colossal Volume Express

  2. Concealer!
    1. bareMinerals Concealer: Light 1

  3. Lipstick!
    1. M.A.C. Honey Love Matte

  4. Foundation!
    1. Mary Kay mineral powder foundation – Beige 0.5
  5. Eyeshadow!
    1. Sephora Colorful 5 Glittery Beige to Deep Brown

These are my absolute favorites!! They are so easy to use and perfect for casual days or fancy nights!

The mascara makes my eyelashes so full and it never clumps! The concealer and foundation is so light and I love it when it feels like I am not wearing full face makeup! It doesn’t look (or FEEL) too heavy! The lipstick is the same way! It adds sophistication yet doesn’t look too heavy. Plus, the neutral color works for any outfit and occasion! Lastly, the eyeshadow is great because it has all the colors I love using! A dark brown for fancier nights and lighter roses/browns for casual, light days! Any pallets with lots of options work great!

What are you makeup favs? I am looking for more lipstick inspiration!
