A Family Dealing With Sensitive Skin

in Featured, Health, Natural Products, Parenting on 03/09/17

This post was sponsored by SoCozy – but all opinions are my own. This is a brand that we use and love!

Growing up, and even now, I have always dealt with sensitive skin. Unfortunately, all three of my boys do too! I was hoping that every time I noticed it as newborns, that it would fade… However, all three of them currently have issues. This is why we do our best to stick to brands that have natural ingredients. This always seems to help since harmful chemicals can make skin issues worse.

It baffles me that baby and children’s products have horrible chemicals in them in the first place! We want the best for our children and we strive to keep there bodies safe from chemicals that are avoidable. (Even though they still eat fast food way too often…*Face Palm*)

Over the last few years, we have made efforts to use products with better ingredients. Bathroom products, kitchen products, health products.. everything! However, one of the first things we did was our children’s products. We threw out as much of the things they use as possible! I couldn’t believe how many harmful chemicals were in almost ALL of their products!

HUSH

As you already know, we love SoCozy products! When I found out that SoCozy was coming out with their HUSH sensitive skin line, I WAS ECSTATIC! I didn’t know it was possible to love their products more, until we tried this! Immediately, when I noticed the gentle scrubbing brush on the tip of the shampoo I knew it would be great for TJ. We have been dealing with cradle cap for the longest time! On the other boys, a little scrub with coconut oil before their bath would work, but nothing seemed to work on TJ!

Getting rid of cradle cap - before and after!

Check out his BEFORE and AFTER shots that showed how it cleared up after just TWO uses with the 2-in-1 shampoo and the scalp serum!

Since the product is meant to clear dirt, flakes, and oil from the scalp- it definitely did its job! And the amazing smell lingered on all my babies until their next bath. 🙂

I was able to find all four products from their HUSH collection at my local target AND with and amazing 25% off coupon through Target’s Cartwheel app. (You can use the coupon until 3/18/17)

Below is a description provided by SoCozy about each product in their HUSH collection:

  • Hush Sensitive Serum: Non-greasy, leave-in formula that helps calm an irritated scalp, working to stop itch and reduce dry flakes.
  • Hush Sensitive Foam: Lightweight mousse that provides natural-looking hold, without disrupting the balance of a sensitive scalp.
  • Hush Sensitive 2in1: Gentle purifying cleanser, specially formulated with sensitive skin and scalp in mind.
  • Hush Sensitive Detangler: Lightweight spray that smooths and detangles, while nourishing and adding moisture to hair without disrupting the balance of a sensitive scalp.

I love when products match their description and live up to their hype, because SoCozy did it again for me and my family. If you want to win an entire HUSH set – go to my Instagram to enter!

We are definitely looking for all the products for sensitive skin. Baby J is a whole new game because we didn’t have to get picky with products with K. We’ve got it all, cradle cap, baby acne, and execma. Thank you for sharing, this is new territory for me so I’m thankful for other mommas who preach the good stuff to help me out.
